Make your training more neuroinclusive, one small change at a time. A practical introduction to designing for neurodiversity, with 60+ minutes of short, self-paced video learning that you can work through in your own time.
What You’ll Learn
Understand neurodiversity in learning
Explore what neurodiversity means for the way people experience training and learning, without reducing learners to diagnoses or lists of traits.
Look at your training differently
See how choices around content, design and delivery can make it easier or harder for different people to learn and participate
Meet the Neurocolour Wheel
Use the eight areas of Neurocolours to look at your training from different perspectives and spot where you might want to focus.
Plan what to do next
Choose the practical changes you can make to your own training straight away.
Meet your instructor
Hi, I’m Sascha Evans, founder and creator of Neurocolours®.
I’ve spent the last 20 years designing experiences that help people learn, participate and connect, from theatre and live experiences to global learning programmes for some of the world’s biggest organisations.
Over the past few years, I’ve worked alongside academics and researchers to understand what the evidence tells us about neurodiversity and learning, and how we can actually apply it in the real world.
I’m ADHD, and my own experience of learning differently led me to become fascinated by a bigger question: what happens when we design learning around the reality that people think, process and participate differently?
That question eventually became Neurocolours®.
I work with trainers, facilitators and organisations to make learning more neuroinclusive, combining research with practical tools that people can actually use.
I’ll be your instructor throughout the programme.
Neurodiversity changes how people experience learning
People take in information, process it, participate and learn in different ways.
But training is often designed as though everyone will respond to the same content, environment and delivery in roughly the same way.
Neurocolours gives you a practical way to notice those differences and decide where to focus.
You don't need to redesign everything.
You start by noticing what could work better and then deciding what you want to change first
What trainers say about Neurocolours
Bring your colouring pencils! (not a joke)
This isn't just a watch-and-forget course. You'll be using the Neurocolour Wheel as you go, looking at your own training and deciding where you want to focus.
This is something you can use in every piece of training you design going forward
