About Neurcolours

How Neurocolours began

Neurocolours grew out of Sascha’s years of designing experiences, from theatre and live events to learning and development, alongside a growing understanding of neurodiversity and just how differently people can experience the same thing.

We combined that practical and creative experience with academic research into neurodiversity, working with researchers to test and challenge the thinking as the framework developed.

The result is Neurocolours: eight practical principles that bring together neurodiversity research, creativity and real-world experience in to an easy to understand system that people can use again and again.

Who we are

Sascha Evans, Creator of Neurocolours and founder of We the Creators

Sascha is a learning designer, trainer and facilitator, with over twenty years' experience designing transformative experiences for companies including Google, Heineken, Marks and Spencer, Unilever and Lloyds Bank, as well as for theatre.

She created Neurocolours with researchers from University College London. It grew out of her own experience as someone who is neurodivergent, and from realising that people needed an evidence based way to work with how differently we all take in, process and hold on to information.
